New Delhi: Former Union Minister P Chidambaram's plea in challenging the judgment of the High Court in Delhi, which rejected his request for protection from detention in the INX Media case, will be heard today by the Supreme Court. His appeal would be heard by a bench consisting of R Banumathi and AS Bopanna. The leader of the Congress approached the Supreme Court on Wednesday for a timely hearing, but the case was scheduled for Friday. On the same evening, the CBI was detained him from his residence in South Delhi.A special CBI court allowed the investigation agency to have his custody until August 26 for questioning.
