India-Pak relations reached a new low as Pakistan has blocked Sikh pilgrims' access to Indian diplomats as well as denied the pilgrims from visiting the Gurdwara. India immediately launched a strong protest against the neighbouring country's action which could spur their relations further.
Indian diplomats in Pakistan had planned to welcome the pilgrims who had entered the Wagah railway station, but failed to do so.
External Affairs ministry in a press release stated that Indian high commissioner Ajay Bisari was returned back by the Pakistan government when the diplomat tried to meet and welcome the pigrims in the Gurdwara.
