New Delhi: The Pakistan Army was forced to raise the "white flag" in order to recover the body of its soldiers killed by the Indian Army in a robust reaction to the Pakistani side's ceasefire violations.

The white flag is intended to mean surrender or the search for truce. Army sources said Indian Army soldiers killed Sepoy Ghulam Rasool in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) Hajipur sector on September 10-11. Sepoy Rasool hailed from the Pakistani Punjab province of Bahawalnagar. Sources of the army said that despite repeated efforts over two days, the Pakistan Army was unable to retrieve the bodies.
