Media Eye News Bureau: PM Narendra Modi’s wife Jashodaben recently got injured in a car accident in Chittorgarh in Rajasthan. The incident reportedly took place on a highway near Chittorgarh, following which she was rushed to a nearby hospital.
However among the occupants of the vehicle one died and three others were injured and the vehicle was completely damaged.
Jashodaben was returning from a marriage in Baran district near Kota in Rajasthan and was travelling back to Unjha in Gujarat the accident occured.
Jashodaben is a retired school teacher and lives with her two brothers in Ishwarwada village in Mehsana district of north Gujarat.
The PM had acknowledged Jashodaben as his wife for the first time at the time of filing his nomination for Vadodara seat during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. Modi married her in 1968 when they were teenagers.
