PM Modi is the first Indian prime minister to visit Palestine and is likely to announce the set-up of a super-speciality hospital in Palestine's capital Ramallah as well. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a four-day visit to Palestine, the UAE, and Oman.
He is also going to be discussing as well as reaffirming India's support for the Palestinian people along with the development of the state with President Mahmoud Abbas as India is also the first non-Arab nation to recognise Palestine and maintain diplomatic relationships with them.
The PM will leave for the UAE after his visit to Palestine and then to Muscat from there on February 11 where he plans to discuss energy and security cooperation as well as trade and investments and counter-terror efforts.
