Media Eye News Bureau: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged all parties to help pass the Triple Talaq law to “protect Muslim women.” The Muslim Women's (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Bill, 2017 related to triple talaq, the Codes of Wages Bill, 2017, Rights of Children to Free and Compulsory Education, 2017 are among the important bills that will be tabled for discussion and passage.
He also expressed hope that the budget will strengthen the growth of the country and said that it will fulfil aspirations of people. He added, “We should rise above politics and make most use of our healthy system of parliamentary committees and have proactive discussions.”
The first part of the budget session will be held between January 29 and February 9, during which the government will present the economic survey on January 29 followed by the Union Budget on February 1.
