Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit France, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain for bilateral conferences focusing on problems ranging from collaboration in defence and energy security and the Indo-Pacific. Modi will fly back to France to attend the G7 Summit in Biarritz after finishing his visits to the UAE and Bahrain. France, together with the US, played a main role in preventing Pakistan's latest move to seek an open and formal UN Security Council session to address the Kashmir scenario.The prime minister will first travel to Paris during August 22-23 for a bilateral meeting with President Emmanuel Macron. After his engagements in Paris, Modi will make a state visit to the UAE during August 23-24 and then to Bahrain during August 24-25.
