Srinagar: People in Jammu and Kashmir with postpaid mobile connections will be able to make calls beginning on Monday as the communications blackout imposed before the government revoked the decades-old special privileges of the state entered its 69th day. However, Internet connectivity will remain suspended for now. "The mobile phone connections, all postpaid mobile phone connections, regardless of a service provider, will resume at noon from Monday, October 14. This will happen throughout the state in all 10 districts, "said Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary Rohit Kansal, at a briefing. He also said that political leaders who have been detained will be gradually released.
