On Friday the Punjab government passed a resolution in the state assembly against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). The resolution, urging the Center to revoke CAA, was moved on the second day of the state assembly's two-day special session by state minister Brahm Mohindra. This is in line with a similar resolution passed by the Kerala government at the state assembly earlier, against the amended citizenship act.
