Mumbai: Senior opposition leader Sharad Pawar, named in a money laundering case, said he was going to appear before the investigating officials before getting busy with the upcoming state elections. "They shouldn't believe I'm not accessible," he informed journalists today after announcing he'd be going to the Enforcement Directorate's office on Friday. He also  said, "Maharashtra follows Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's ideology. We don't understand how to bow down before the Delhi Takht (Throne)." He questioned

"I would have been amazed if such action had not been taken against me after the kind of response I received during my visits to different districts of the state," said the leader, who took on the governing BJP-Shiv Sena alliance.
