The Calcutta High Court told the government headed by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today that all advertisements that say West Bengal will not enforce the amended citizenship law and the citizens ' list should be taken off the air. The order from a division bench of Chief Justice TBN Radhakrishnan and Justice Radhakrishnan came after several petitions were filed against the government of Bengal for broadcasting advertisements against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act and the NRC in the midst of protests.
