The ordinance by the central government that criminalises the triple talaq is a move for social justice and gender equality while the ban for ladies having 10-50 age in Sabarimala is a part of the tradition, says the Prime minister Narendra Modi as he broke his mum for the first time over the controversial religious issues.

The PM cleared his intentions during his interview to the news agency ANI while the growing speculations that he is taking double standards on both the issues.

"We must specifically read the disagreement note of the female judge in the Sabarimala verdict. The Sabarimala's case is about tradition. Our nation has the view that everybody should get justice. Certain temples have their own traditions. Men are not allowed to enter in some temples so men are not going in those temples. There is no need to link it with any political parties in those subjects", says PM.

The PM added that the government has proposed Triple talaq ordinance only after the Supreme Court verdict.

"Triple talaq even banned in Pakistan. Its all about gender equality and social justice, and not about belief. So both issues should be treated as differently", the PM aired his views.
