US Air Force Chief flies

Media Eye News Bureau: The Chief of Staff of the US Air Force, General David L Goldfein, recently flew the 'Made in India' light combat aircraft ‘Tejas’ and became the first foreign military chief to do so as well.

Goldfein is a command pilot with 4200 flying hours under his belt and has flown in the Gulf war and in Afghanistan as well. Goldfein along with General Terrence O'Shaughnessy, Commander of US Pacific Air Force was on an official visit to India to boost military ties between the two nations and also met important functionaries of the IAF, including the Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa.
