The Vice President M. Venkiah Naidu has said that connecting common man with the developmental journey of the country is crucial to build a strong nation. He was addressing the gathering after releasing the book titled "Ankaha Lucknow' authored by Lalji Tandon, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
The Vice President said that Tandon has dedicated his life to Lucknow and made valuable contributions in the in developing the city in terms of economy, literarcy, cultural aspects. He also appreciated him for continuing former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpay's literary legacy.
The Vice President termed the book Ankaha Lucknow as a great example of folk history writing. He urged citizens of Lucknow to revive their tradition and put in collaborative efforts in enhancing the legacy of the great city.
The Vice President said that everyone must be aware of the great traditions, glorious heritage and priceless heritage of the country so that the country can move forward on the path of desirable progress.
The Vice President said that taking development to the poorest of the poor is crucial to realise the Antyodaya dream of Deendayal Upadhyay ji.
