Maharashtra Governor inaugurates Braille Printing Machine for visually impaired

Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais inaugurated ‘Braillo 300’, a modern Braille Printing Machine at the headquarters of the National Association for the Blind India at Worli, Mumbai on Wed (12 Jun).

The machine purchased by NAB India from the discretionary funds made available by the Governor will be used for printing text books, novels, religious books, cards and other reading material.

The Governor felicitated the visually impaired students who scored more than 80 per cent marks in the SSC Board examinations. Teachers were also felicitated on the occasion.

The Governor felicitated the CEO of Marsh India Sanjay Kedia, HSBC representative Roopa Varma and CEO of Concern India Foundation Kavita Shah for supporting the structural repairs, painting and installation of Solar panels of NAB building.

A documentary film on NAB India was released on the occasion.

President of NAB India Hemant Takle, Acting Honorary Secretary General Dr Vimal Kumar Dengla, Honorary Secretary Harendra Mallik, Executive Director Pallavi Kadam, Committee members and office bearers of NAB were present.
