K C Koshy was born in Eraviperoor, near Thiruvalla, Kerala. He had an illustrious and disciplined life.He is eight youngest among ten children born to K.M.Chackoand .Achamma Chacko. After completing his B.A in Mathematics, he joined National Quilon Bank and was posted near Madras. Later he took up a job at Central Government Service at Madras in 1939 and wassubsequently wastransferred to Mumbai in 1942, as Madras was evacuated fearing a Japanese bombing invasion.
