BJP boycotts trust vote i

The BJP has decided to boycott the trust vote in Karnataka and they made a walkout soon after the speech of former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa. Yeddyurappa while walking out said that "let's see how long you last".

Meanwhile the state assembly and the newly formed Congress-Janatha Dal (S) government is all set to face the floor test as they believe that they could easily overcome the test with the help of 117 MLAs. Congress has 78 MLAs, JD(S) has 37, BSP 1 and one independent jointly form the alliance.

Earlier Congress' KR Ramesh Kumar was unanimously elected as the speaker after his opponent S Suresh Kumar from BJP withdrew his nomination.
