Media Eye News Bureau: As Karnataka readies itself for the upcoming polls, the source of funds for Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) rally in Bengaluru is the latest 'issue' that has been raised by the Congress.

It has been reported that about Rs 10 crore were being spent on organising the Parivarthana rally at Bengaluru's Palace Grounds. At this, Karnataka legislature, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah questioned the money being spent by the BJP saying, “Is this white money they spent yesterday?”

Further Karnataka's energy minister DK Shivakumar joined in as well as he expressed that the BJP need to give an account of this expenditure.

However, BJP was quick to respond as Jagadish Shettar, senior BJP leader and leader of opposition in the Assembly, explained that he was ready to give an account when the Congress gives an account of the amount of money they had spent so far.
