ME News Bureau: Calling them a severe threat to democracy and launches an attack on Modi government, Gujarat MP Jignesh Mevani began his rally asking to ensure social justice to all.

Mevani also demanded the release of Dalit social leader Chandrasekhar Azad from the jail. " The govt bans all the talks on the release of Azad, to give jobs for youth and also to practice constitution".

Mevani also laughed at the 'Gujarat model' saying if the elected government is not willing to provide justice to all, you can call it the said model.

Mevani said that BJP stands as a threat to democracy and constitution. He demanded a proper explanation from PM Modi himself for the death of Rohith Vemula and other deaths reported as a protest against the caste inequality.

"I believe in the politics of unity and love, not in love jihad. BJP targets Alpesh Thakor and Hardik Patel as they works against them in Gujarat", Mevani added.

JNU student  leaders Kanhaiya Kumar, Umar Khalid and Shehla Rashid were also attended Mevani's rally.

Mevani & Co. conducted the rally despite the Delhi police rejected permission due to security reasons.
