Karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa said that he is 100 percent confident of getting trust vote in the assembly. The Supreme Court on yesterday instructed Yeddyurappa to prove the majority by 4pm today evening after dismissing governor's 15 days time.

Yeddyurappa expressed his full confidence when he had arrived to attend the BJP legislative party meeting before the assembly session begins.

Meanwhile the JD(S) MLAs who were staying in a resort in Hyderabad have arrived in Bengaluru today morning.

In one of the latest developments in the Karnataka episode, the Supreme Court will hear the petition filed by the JDS and the Congress against the appointment of the pro-term speaker. A bench of judges AK Sikri, SA Bobde and Ashok Bhushan, the same bench who asked the Yeddyurappa government to seek the trust vote by today evening itself, will consider the petition.

The Congress and the JDS allege that the Karnataka government overturned the normal procedure in appointing the pro-term speaker.
