Actress and IPL franchise Kings XI Punjab co-owner Preity Zinta has rejected media speculation about her selling off the IPL franchise and that she is planning to settle in the US. She asked people to discard rumours.

"A big Thank U 2 all the people 4 the support. (I’m)Amazed at the growing speculation in the media. No I'm not selling my stake or settling down in the US. (The)So called sources says anything & it’s getting reported. Please no hearsay. There are many IMP Issues in India which are much more newsworthy," Preity posted on Twitter late on Wednesday night.

The actress recently lodged a complaint against the Bombay Dyeing scion and her former beau Ness Wadia, accusing him of molestation, abuse and threats with Mumbai police. She has left for the US after filing complaint. The duo had dated for five years till 2009. But their relations turned sour since past couple of months and what happened in Wankhede Stadium was literally the last nail in their relationships’ coffin. Preity accused Ness of grabbing her hand and abusing her during a cricket match here.

Ness has denied her accusations, and said he was "shocked at the complaint and allegations which are totally false and baseless".
