The decision of the central government to cancel Article 370 of the Constitution had an unexpected effect on attempts to form the council of ministers in Karnataka of the Bharatiya Janata Party government.

Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa, who won the confidence vote last week at the state assembly, is visiting New Delhi to convey the state cabinet development. He hoped to meet with Home Minister Amit Shah, to discuss the development on Tuesday or Wednesday. On Thursday, he's set to return to the state.

This timeline was made last week as he was unaware that  BJP chief   would pass the resolution calling for the removal of Article 370.
