Lucknow:Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised the implementation of the National Citizens ' Register (NRC) in Assam, adding that if the need arose, he would introduce a similar drive in his state. "These things are being introduced phase-wise and I feel that when Uttar Pradesh needs an NRC, we're going to do that. It was Assam in the first phase and how it's being applied there can be an instance for us," the chief minister informed .
