Lonavala is supposed to be one of the nearest and finest hill station destination near Mumbai and the best time to visit it is during the monsoon season when the atmosphere is cool and the climate is wonderful. It is said that Lonavala is at its best with cloud-kissing cliffs and gushing waterfalls.

Families enjoy coming out here during their vacation and visiting different points like Tiger point or the Parsi point, etc. and eating local food like vaadi, moong dal bhaji, butter-corn, chiki, fudge, etc., Due to the pandemic, the cities were in lockdown, and people were not allowed to travel anywhere.

Once the second lockdown was unlocked and restrictions had been lifted, people started travelling again to get away from home for a while and enjoy a nice vacation with their families and friends. Since Lonavala is the closest destination, a lot of people went out for enjoyment.

With the sudden surge of tourist at this place and the people not observing any precautions against the covid-19 pandemic, the authorities got concerned and decided to ban the tourist from going to any of the tourist places for their safety as well as for the safety of the local people.

To make sure that the message was delivered clearly to all the people, the administrators put up posters near all tourist places so that people would know about the decision and not enter these spots.

In conclusion, it is understandable that people get frustrated being at home and not being able to go anywhere, so they needed a relaxing get-away. It is also necessary that they must remember that covid is not over and enjoying without taking any precautions against it could be dangerous for themselves and others around them. We need to understand that we are still not safe against this virus that keeps on mutating and can cause serious harm to people.
